India receives ‘Measles and Rubella Champion’ award at ceremony in Washington DC

The award will  be presented on  March 6, 2024, at  Washington, D.C., provided at the American Red Cross headquarters in the USA. Ambassador Sripriya Ranganathan, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, received the award on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

India has been awarded the prestigious ‘Measles & Rubella Champion’ award by The Measles & Rubella Partnership.

The award recognises the dedication of frontline health workers, health professionals, policy makers and communities across the country.
